About me

My name is Emilia, but most people call me Emma. I was born in subtropical Batumi in Georgia but have been living in the Netherlands for 20 years now. I am married to a Dutch man and together we have a 3 year old son named Ryker and a cat Lucy. We live 40 minutes away from Rotterdam in a small village called Zwartewaal.

I started making polymer clay earrings 3 years ago, when I was pregnant and had a lot of time on my hands. I now also work part-time at a contemporary art institution, as an education coordinator. But in my evenings and days off I make polymer clay earrings at our dining table, often with Ryker at my side. I have been working towards the moment for a few months now to show you all the things I have made! And here it is finally: my own webshop. Here you will find all my creations that are currently for sale. I also offer workshops for beginners to learn how to make jewelry yourself. This way I can share my passion and interest with others.

A few facts about me:

I love bright colours, earthy colours, black, white or just simple and actually everything in between. Actually I don't have a 'own style' but I prefer to make what I want to make in the moment itself. That varies from a simple design to a complicated earring in neon colours. Maybe not having a style is my style?

I speak three languages fluently: Dutch, English and Russian.

My taste in music is very broad; from hard rock to hip hop, from drum 'n bass to jazz and everything in between.
